What We Believe

All of Christ for all of life.

Evangelical Bible Church holds to the Biblical doctrines which mark and conserve Evangelical Christianity. These are stated below; we consider these minimal for participation. Christians have exceeded these seven statements with entire systems of Biblical theology. We recognize these systems and cherish the opportunity to examine them with one another.
The Bible
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired and infallible Word of God; our rule for all matters pertaining to faith and practice.
The Trinity
We believe in one God eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal, visible return in power and glory at the end of the age.
Salvation
We believe in the sinfulness of man who can only be saved from his lost condition by repentance toward Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by which men are regenerated and granted life and grace to live godly and holy lives in this present evil world.
The Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of both saved and lost. Those who are saved to the resurrection of life, and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
Spiritual Unity
We believe that the true church is spiritually united, made up of all believers chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world.
